Great stay
The staff were friendly and very responsive. The bedroom was clean and functional and the hotel is in a good location. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Overall good
Kasha (KC) did everything she could to make my stay as good & comfortable as possible. This made a big impact on my stays at the hotel. She gave me the best room available which I really appreciated. The rooms are small and compact , but comfy enough . I liked having a light room with a bath. There isn’t a huge amount of space , they could do with some extra shelves & plugs and hooks. It was very warm & without AC I was definitely relieved they provide a fan in the room. The dining room is lovely , white table linen, fresh flowers. The location is fantastic. Most of the staff are helpful & friendly..Chris, Sanjit, Paul etc) I stayed a few different times on my trip from overseas & would return. Prices are quite steep depending on high season. I wish they did a loyalty scheme for people like myself so it was more affordable.

I had a short one night stay and the stay were so helpful and accommodating. The location was excellent in respect of my agenda . It was a very hot day and I was allocated a room with A/C which was hugely appreciated. I didn’t eat at the hotel but the menu looks lovely and varied and well priced.

Fabulous Historic hotel
I called the Strathmore and booked directly with them ,their price was the most competitive and included continental breakfast for all 3 guests. Maureen was the lovely lady who helped with my enquiry-she was great. We booked a triple room but when we arrived we were given a family room (slept 4) so roomy and well equipped. The room are well decorated, have everything you need and we were impressed. The hotel was obviously a very grand house to the Queen mother’s family and it is still showing its style and has beautiful architectural features. The lift takes 5 people but more honestly 3 people with luggage ??. The continental breakfast was great,lots of options available and the staff in the dining room were very helpful too. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Gloucester Road tube and is easy to reach. My friends and i would not hesitate to stay there again anytime.

Nice stay at a historic "gem"
We had a quaint stay for a few nights. The room was very spacious and the staff was accommodating. Downside was no air conditioning but we had an oscillating fan that helped.
