Weddings Anniversary trip to London for a couple o
On arrival the Staff were very polite and friendly. We arrived a little earlier than our check-in but fortunately our room was ready. To our surprise, the bed was decorated with a pair of towel swans and adorn with rose petals. Before we even had time to settle a bottle of complimentary champagne and a couple of roses were delivered to our room. It really made a wonderful start to our stay. Thank you Gem Hotels!!

Highly recommendable
I had the most wonderful experience in the former residence of the Earl of Strathmore, Father of the Queen Mother. Apart from the royal atmosphere of the whole hotel and the very professional and friendly staff members, I met the considerate and extremely helpful manager Maureen, who greatly supported me in overcoming initial check-in issues due to a misunderstanding with my booking company. Thank you again for enabling me to have a great stay at this extraordinary place.

We really enjoyed our stay here.
So glad we found this hotel. The staff were fabulous and plenty of them. The room although rather small was extremely comfortable and spotless. It was an easy 12 minute walk away from the Royal Albert Hall. We particularly appreciated being about to order an early meal in the bar before attending a concert. We won’t hesitate to stay there again when we are next in London.

Lovely welcoming hotel
From the minute we walked in we felt very comfortable and relaxed. The staff were really welcoming and efficient. Our room was compact but clean and cosy. We were on the 5th floor looking over rooftops which was actually quite nice….a “Mary Poppins” view. We slept well. Nice bath but could have done with a handle / bar to help get in and out as the shower screen covered the whole of one side. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice. The cooked part was a little slow coming out, and not very hot, but everything was good quality and tasty. Housekeeping were friendly and responsive. Will definitely visit again…..it has a lovely “feel” to it.
