Lovely, relaxing break.
Brilliant two night stay in such a lovely setting for a city break. The hotel is situated just a 3 minute walk from a tube station that has direct lines into London. The room we had was at the front and was comparably bigger than expected and experienced in other hotels used before. The room was clean, stocked with tea/coffee etc and was quiet. We had the Breakfast each morning which was freshly cooked to order. There was plenty of choice if you don't want the cooked option. The staff throughout the hotel were very polite and accommodating. Beautifully decorated and spacious rooms were available to use for eating and drinking, too. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great stay at the Starsthmore
Lovely 2 nights stay at the Strathmore Hotel, it’s a beautiful building In a quiet location only a few minutes walk from Gloucester Road tube station & 5-10 mins walk to the V & A, Science, Natural History museums. The room was lovely the staff where attentive, full English breakfast was tasty. I definitely recommend this hotel

We would definitely stay here again , everything was 5star ,great location ,clean and friendly staff. Hand sanitizer was available.in the foyer and we felt comfortable and safe. We did not eat in the hotel as we like to go out all day but had a late drink in the bar on our arrival back.

We have stayed at the Strathmore several times over the years and have already booked a further 4-night stay in November but through an agent, who offered additional ‘benefits’ and a lower cost which the hotel wasn’t able to meet. Seems strange that you would prefer to accept a lower rate and also pay a commission to an agent. All stays have been excellent and the staff are attentive but there are the occasional challenges which are not vital but are there. Four-night stay and milk and tea/coffee not always replenished. Only one hand towel provided throughput our stay and although both points are almost insignificant they happened.
