After staying in several London hotels over the years we were pleasantly surprised to find the Strathmore. Very comfortable although the room was 'cosy'. Staff very efficient, good choice at breakfast, Excellent location for the Royal Albert Hall, our reason for visiting London. Due to the times of the concerts we were unable to dine in the restaurant but the bar menu food was very good. All in all a good visit and when (and if) we visit London again we will certainly consider this hotel.

Great location
Lovely hotel in old mansion. Quiet area but close to tube, cafes, shops etc. friendly staff. Room clean and comfortable.

A very convenient place to stay for an overnight stay. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. The hotel is characterful, making the rooms a little small. We particularly liked the bar area which is a great place to sit with a drink.

nice place, very good location, friendly and co-operative staff I hope there is an A/C in the room because the weather was warm however there was a fan which helped alot.

Weekend Stay
We have just spent 2 nights staying in an Executive Double Room. The staff at this hotel are very good, they all provide a good customer service, in particular the Housekeeping Manager. The place is clean and comfortable. Our room was of a good size, no a/c ( we knew that before booking) - but the room had a good large fan. The breakfast is buffet style but offered a full English, continental and pastriesWe have just spent 2 nights staying in an Executive Double Room. Enjoyed our stay with Gem Strathmore. The staff were so very friendly and welcoming. The room was small but had everything we needed. It was incredibly hot when we stayed, but a fan was provided. Great location, close the Gloucester Road station. Lots of eateries and museums close by. I would recommend this hotel. Thank you.
