Excellent hotel .group of 7 family members we all thought what a stunning hotel the lady from Romania not sure of her name was the most friendliest of staff and made us all feel like we were very important quest she welcomed us every time she seen us with the most beautiful smile and kind words . Such a great location would definitely recommend to any one to see the sights of London

Short break in London
Loved the location and authenticity of the hotel. The room had excellent facilities although it was tight to move around in. The staff were friendly and helpful and we particularly enjoyed our cream teas on arrival!!

Visit
The hotel is brilliany positioned for our visit to the Albert Hall. Staff were friendly and professional. We had the Travelzoo offer so also got a cream tea and full english breakfact as part of the deal which made it very reasonable in terms of price. Handily placed just off Gloucester Road so plenty of shops and cafes etc

Great location. Close to tube station and museums
Location was excellent as it's close to Gloucester Road station and walking distance to museums. My family has stayed here before so it's an option we choose whenever we're in London.

The hotel is in a great location - very handy to the Gloucester Road tube station and Big Bus tour departures. My daugther and I felt very safe in this area and it was within easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, Kensington Gardens and Palace, Royal Albert Hall etc. We had an executive room which was spacious enough for us to both have our suitcases open and still have space. The staff were lovely and we enjoyed staying in a place with character.

Beautifully traditional hotel situated in a quiet but central part of London 10 minutes walk from the the South Kensington Museums and 5 minutes from the tube and buses. The public rooms were very well maintained, the breakfast excellent, and helpful and friendly staff. Within the room the shower was hot and good water pressure, decent wifi, and surprisingly little external noise even with the window open. It's hard to find fault, my single room 522 was very small with no bedside cabinet or close power point - a minor point but the bed was comfy and I slept well.
