Excellent stay, room was clean and just what we needed. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel situation within a 7-8min walk of the Tube station so very easy to travel across London. All in all a lovely experience. We will definitely stay again

I love this hotel have now stayed many times and continue to love it each time . The staff are welcoming and kind . Unnimaya has been very helpful and accommodating with everything. I am back in my favourite room . The location is fantastic. I will be back am sure!

Everyone pleased to help.
Very friendly staff. Everyone pleased to help. Particularly your pleasant young ladies in reception, and barman in lounge. Restaurant staff kind and efficient at breakfast. Limited storage space in room for clothes. Need for more than one coathanger. Mop bits on carpet by bed. Direct external telephone out of service, despite information in guest book. Could not call home. Nevertheless I enjoyed my stay, and will do so again in the future.

The hotel is very central, next to the metro. The building is very beautiful. The staff are very polite, efficient, and friendly. The dinner is highly recommended. Very good food, very well presented, and generous portions. Very fair price. The only thing we didn’t like were the rooms. Very small and old. They need to be renovated, but they were clean

Room and services were excellent however I had a glass of wine from the bar which was undrinkable. Staff are very nice and can't do enough for us

Buckingham Palace Garden Party
This was my first visit to this Hotel, and on entering the foyer of The Strathmore Hotel there were portraits of the late Queen Mother and our late Majesty Queen Elizabeth, and on entering the lounge bar I noticed there were portraits of The Earl and Countess of Strathmore. As I had not re-searched the history of this Hotel, the realisation dawned that this had previously been the London Home of the Earl's of Glamis Castle in Scotland. The customer service we received from the receptionists, concierge, dining, bar and housekeeping staff was second to none. They were all so courteous and happy to make our stay a very enjoyable one. I will certainly be staying at this Hotel again when I next return to London.

Our stay was excellent. The room was great for a short stay, clean and cosy and the view was great. The staff was very nice, especially the Hungarian lady who even offered us traditional english breakfast, thank you again:))
