Very short stay!
After a badly delayed flight we arrived (2.15am on Friday, 29th August) but our booking had not fed through from the Booking.com website. Your night manager managed to find the booking eventually and saw that it looked like I had already checked in, I had not. He quickly found an alternative room and we spent a very clean and comfortable five hour stay here prior to a visit to a local dentist. The location was perfect for us, the bathroom was spotless and the linen was also lovely and the beds very comfortable. Our stay was short but was exactly what we required. Thank you everyone!

5 star experience????
Immaculate quiet comfy, excellent shower WiFi phone etc services. Near gd restaurants shops tour bus site. FELT SAFE for 2 ladies who thought staff incredibly kind and responsive, ordered taxis daily w essentially instant responses. A perfect Gem for this price????????????

Truly a little gem!
I booked this stay through Secret Escapes and decided to upgrade from a single to a double room. The location of the hotel is great, just minutes from Soho and the West End, in a quiet street. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that a cream tea (delicious!) and breakfast were included in the price. We didn't have the chance to enjoy the breakfast as we were going out but I popped my head into the dining room and the food looked great. Some of the fixtures and furniture in the hotel are a bit tired, lampshades in particular need replacing. However my bathroom looked brand new, maybe they are working their work round the building doing upgrades. The staff were kind and polite, my cream tea was laid out with a white linen cloth and real care was taken. There is no air con because it's a rather lovely old building but you can open the windows - although my sash window was a bit of a struggle! The bed was comfortable and although the room was small it had tea/coffee making facilities. I paid £136 for a double room on a Sunday night with the inclusions I've mentioned. This is a bargain price for central London. I would definitely go back.
