Great base to explore London
A great location, close to Regents Park and Madame Tussauds, 3 x underground stations and 15 minutes walk to Euston Railway station and Oxford Street. In a quiet location it feels safe to walk around. Easy to ge to most parts of the city. Rooms are good and the breakfast is great. We will return I am sure and would recommend this hotel for its location, good and comfortable rooms, and proximity to transport when needed.

10/10!!! perfect choice
location was crazy good and comfortable. staff was always available and helpful. beds was NOT SOFT AND SLOUCHY WHICH IS SO VALUED!!!!! every hotel that trying to be fancy has soft matresses that you 'sink' in which cause backpain at the morning. our sleep was PERFECT and Im not taking it for granted.

Wonderful hotel
I stayed at the Gem in Great Portland Street as it was close to a venue I had an event at, however I will stay again next time I am in London as it was perfect. So central (a minute from the tube, a short walk to central places like Oxford Street etc), yet the road it was on was quiet and calm (I had a wonderful sleep). The room was immaculate and the decor lovely, and the staff both on reception and in the restaurant were so friendly and helpful - and the breakfast was delicious, lots of choice.

Our stay was incredible. The hotel is wonderful, with nice decoration and wonderful staff. The room was small, but nicely decorated, clean and with comfortable bed and coffee / tea facilities. The neighborhood around is quiet and lovely. I have already booked a room for my next stay in London this autumn!!!
