We booked a 3 night stay in Gem Fitzrovia Hotel, what a great choice! A hotel full of old world charm and comfort & the staff were cheerful and happy to help. Our room was comfortable with everything we need there…tea/coffee, iron & safe. The bathroom has been newly updated and had shower gels, soap and the rainfall shower was great! Breakfast was a delight each morning with attentive staff and everything you could wish for on offer. I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and berry compote. Full English meant we left full every morning. The hotel is located perfectly with a 4 minute walk to the tube so sightseeing was easy and 2 stops to King’s Cross . I think a perfect accolade to this lovely hotel was made by my husband when he said “ I’ll only come back to London if we can stay at this hotel!”

Did not eat at the hotell so no idea about the food and same regarding the conference. Very helpful staff, especially Anastasia at the check in desk! Perfect location, perfect WiFi och very comfortable beds and pillows.

PLEASANT STAY
Lovely comfortable and welcoming hotel in a quiet centrally located street. Staff all were exceptionally nice. Strategically located for our work too. Would reommend.

Ideal Base for Time in London
Friendly and efficient staff and an ideal place to stay for a visit to London, within easy walking distance of the tube station, the 88/453 bus routes to Central London and good local restaurants and pubs

Two night stay
Great location for shopping, restaurants and theatres. Peaceful hotel, although our room was next to the lift, which did disturb us a little. The staff ere all polite helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and the staff there were brilliant and cheerful.

Minor complaint : the room was not available for check in at 3.00pm as advertised we were unable to take possession until 3.30 otherwise the stay was very good.

Gem Fitzrovia Review
We have just finished our third stay within the last four years at the Gem and it was good as ever- in fact it seems to improve each time with little upgrades such as a new upgraded safe in the room. The facilties and quality of the hotel deliver exceptional value for money, however, it is the hotel staff who make it really stand out for all the right reasons. If I were to suggest more improvements it would be for the TV to have more channels and the rooms to have a small fridge and bottled water.

Everything was perfect
It was a really nice stay. They were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. One of us had some medical needs and they helped us with everything. The place was clean, the room was everything we expected and needed. I would come back without questions
